Vehicle Tactics
Fighting from within and around your vehicle with a handgun
An 8 hour course designed to introduce the student to techniques and tactics that give them the edge in a lethal force encounter while in or around their vehicle. Students that register for this class must have a command of core skills with regard to handgun manipulations, drawing the handgun from concealment, and basic marksmanship.

- How to incorporate high risk driving techniques into your “daily drive time”
- Learning about and using the cover and concealment that your vehicle offers.
- Learning to rapidly exit your vehicle and deliver an effective rate of fire. – Learning to deliver an effective rate of fire from within your vehicle.
- Shooting through windshields, understanding deflection through live fire.
- Live fire exercises to explore various responses to potential and/or actual assaults.
- How to develop and employ a team response.
- Pre fight and Post fight management, dealing with responding LEO’s.
Equipment required:
- photo ID
- dependable handgun in .38 caliber minimum
- at least one additional magazine for semi auto (speed-loaders for revolvers)
- a dominant side holster that covers the trigger guard fully
- a magazine pouch for the extra magazine
- eye and hearing protection
- a hat with a brim
- your vehicle
Round Count: 100-125 rounds
